The author has returned to the blogosphere (does anyone even use that term anymore?) after years of absence—and hopefully, this time, permanently.
She is a hobbyist, casual gamer, and editor from the north who spent many years surviving in the big city before finally returning home. She was once a corporate puppet who spent much of her adult life perfecting the art of puppetry, chasing promotions and fulfilling the demands of her former capitalist owners. Along the way, she gained and lost friends and missed out on some of the best years she could have had as a young adult.
Now she lives in the north, where it is perpetually hot but the wind never seems to stop blowing. Afternoons are quiet, making them perfect for siesta enthusiasts. Vegetables are fresh, the air is clean (at least for now), and life moves at a considerably slower pace.
She rides her bike, Cindy, to her grandmother's house and takes leisurely walks around the neighborhood, something she rarely, if ever, did while living in the big city.
She writes in English and Tagalog, and occasionally in Ilocano.
